New med and coming out of the fogginess

Well, my doc has done it again, yet another new med. But this one is helping, something I haven't experienced in years.

My doc has added 10mg of Adderall to my routine every day. My therapist thinks I may have a mild case of adult ADD.

For the first time in years, I can start a task and finish it. My anxiety has actually been reduced and I'm spending more time out of bed than in (still taking an afternoon nap tho, lol).

My therapist and I have set up a daily routine for me to follow, something we've been trying to do, but I could never focus enough to follow it. Been 3 days now and I have been able to follow it, no problem.

I've actually had the motivation to get on my computer. I know this med can have severe side effects, but I think it's worth it. I've been on Effexor, Cymbalta, Prozac, Wellbutrin (twice), Lexapro (twice), Paxil, Zoloft, and Buspar. And I know I've left out a few.

So it's nice to have something that's bringing me a little bit of relief.

Sometimes, it takes a long while to see what works. I'm glad that this one seems to be working. I also have a list of those that haven't or made my symptoms worse. Good luck with your meds.

Keep in mind it also helps to talk about it. Try to keep blogging and stay connected with those of us that may be (are) going through some of the same things. Blogging is great therapy!
Hang in there!
